Welcome to BeastBoard (“the App”, “we”, “our”, or “us”).
BeastBoard is a custom iOS keyboard that enables users to input text using voice dictation. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, and protect your information when you use our app.
By using BeastBoard, you agree to this Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, please do not use the app.
2. Information We Collect
a. Account Information
We use Sign in with Apple to authenticate users. When you sign in, we receive only the information Apple provides — typically your Apple ID-associated email address (or Apple’s private relay email) and a user identifier. We do not access any other personal data from your Apple account.
b. Voice and Transcription Data
When you use voice typing:
The audio you speak is securely transmitted to our backend servers for transcription.
We temporarily process this audio to convert it into text and return the transcription to your keyboard.
Audio files and transcriptions are not permanently stored after processing.
c. Diagnostic and Usage Data
We may collect anonymous diagnostic data, such as:
App version and device type
Crash logs and performance data
Transcription accuracy metrics (without storing audio or text content)
This helps us improve recognition quality and app performance.
3. How We Use the Information
We use collected information solely to:
Provide the dictation and transcription functionality
Authenticate your user account via Sign in with Apple
Maintain and improve app quality, stability, and accuracy
Respond to support requests
We do not sell, rent, or monetize your data in any way.
4. Data Retention and Deletion
Voice data: Audio input and transcribed text are processed in real time and deleted immediately after the transcription is completed.
Account data: Your Apple Sign-In identifier is retained as long as your account remains active.

5. Sharing of Information
We do not share or sell your personal data to third parties.
However, we may use trusted third-party service providers (e.g., cloud hosting or speech recognition providers) to process voice data strictly for the purpose of providing the transcription service. These providers are bound by confidentiality and data protection agreements.
6. Security
We implement reasonable technical and organizational measures to protect your data, including:
Encrypted transmission (HTTPS/TLS)
Secure server storage
Limited internal access controls
No system is 100% secure, but we continuously improve our security practices.
7. Children’s Privacy
BeastBoard is not directed at children under the age of 13 (or 16 where applicable). We do not knowingly collect or process personal data from minors.
